Triple-Layer Technology - First, Cuda make their knife and shear blades from premium stainless steel, known for its rust resistance. They then polish the surface to a bright finish. Making the surface mirror-smooth reduces the exposed surface area, creating fewer places where corrosion can start.

Next, they passivate the blades, Passivation forms rust-resistant chromium oxide below the outer surface to create a wall of defense against salt water.
