Wambo Outdoor Pod

This pod chair forms part of the 2022 Outdoor Capsule Collection. The repetition of the arched ribs of the pod chair like its name same the Wambo Ottoman references & celebrates the long Rapunzel-like (eembuvi-plaits) hair of the Mbalantu women of the wambo (ovaWambo) tribe in the 1900s in Namibia.

The materials for this piece are specially specified for outdoor living; with 304 stainless steel framework & woven mesh, high-performance outdoor fabrics that are extremely weather-resistant and highly durable.

The lifespan of your furniture will vary in relation to the conditions and use. To extend the longevity of your pieces, we storage during winter or rainy seasons that you store it in a dry, well-ventilated place.

We also recommend that any stains are treated as quickly as possible, as these can lead to the permanent damage or staining of your furniture.

We specify Sunbrella fabrics for all our upholstery; this high performance fabric consists of 100% acrylic and has been specifically developed for outdoor use. The fabric is mass-coloured, UV-resistant and does not fade under the influence of light or sunshine. Sunbrella® is water-repellent and resistant to water from swimming pools and seawater.
